Adam Hatley

Adam Hatley

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Adam now lives in Los Angeles, California pursuing his acting career. Adam fell in love with the profession as a young boy. Debuting in the play The Wizard of Oz in the third grade was all he needed to fall in love with acting. Planning on leaving Memphis after high school, Adam lucked into a modeling contract with Zoli Models. Zoli brought Adam to New York, where he was featured in many magazines wearing clothing lines from big names like Calvin Klein, Guess, Gap, Eddie Bauer, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, etc. While in New York, Adam studied his craft and enhanced his passion for acting. Adam went to star in Orphans by Lyle Kessler, starring as Treat, and Fool for Love by Sam Shepard, starring as Eddie. He then started booking regional commercials and indie films God is not Home and Three Years and a Day.

Moving from indie-style film, Adam took a behind-the-scenes job on a major studio film. Adam earned his SAG card as the stand-in for Brad Pitt in 12 Monkeys and then went on to stand in for Matt Damon in The Rainmaker. From behind-the-scenes back into the scenes, Adam landed his first supporting role in a studio project co-starring as Brian in the film Off the Lip, featuring such names as Margurite Moreau and Mackenzie Astin.

From film back to theater, this time LA style: Adam went to star in the edgy drama Forty Deuce by Alan Bowne, starring as Blow, and the William Inge classic Picnic as Hal Carter. From stage to the small screen: Adam guest-starred in the made-for-TV movie Gone to Maui (Hallmark Channel) as Orderly Williams. The movie starred Pat Morita.

Still hitting Hollywood hard, Adam has starred in numerous commercials as well as the campy reality show Mr. Romance on the Oxygen network. Adam managed to do something on this show that has never been done on a reality TV before. Adam cleverly started his own Talk Show entitled “The Adam Show.” His show was used for entertainment in the house as well as to give the other house members a chance to spotlight themselves. Adam recently signed a two-picture deal with Sinister Fillms, to do Hunter of the Dead and Hunter of the Dead II. Adam also made several appearances on the NBC daytime Soap Opera Passions, where he had a recurring role.

Enjoying the domino effect, Adam booked a lead role in the short film Leah by Eleven/Eleven Productions (set for festival release in 2007) and then booked his first starring role in a feature film, playing SoCo in the Psychological Thriller The Hanged Man, set for theatrical release in 2008.
